I really think this project is unique. Having to take pictures with your phone really makes you think about what you can use it for. The camera on my phone is 8 mega pixels. I Think it is really good on a portable device such as a phone. These are the pictures I took using the camera on my phone. For the first picture I got a picture of a few water droplets falling from a melting icicle. I was surprised when I was able to capture the falling droplets. The second picture I took was a close up of an ice and liked this picture because you saw the small details in the ice. The third picture was a small pond created by the melting ice and I was also surprised that I captured the splash the droplets created. The fourth picture was just a mound of snow. I liked it because my phone was able to capture the smProxy-Connection: keep-alive

l details of the snow and it came out clearly. The last picture was a close up shot of a clarinet. Having a close up shot of the instrument showed the glossiness of the metal. That is my project I created with the camera of my phone.

Texting and Driving

Writing Prompt:

If you were a congress man or women, compose a law that would be reasonable concerning texting and driving.

If I was a congress men I would make all phones in cars only work with voice input. The reason why I say that is because it would render texting useless but still would allow emergency calling. That would make the death rates lower but still needs improvement.  Another law would only allow texting if the car is fully parked. The only problem with the law is that some drivers would park on a red light or stop sign bothering many other drivers. To stop that I would make a fee that would charge the driver 150 dollars. That is how I would reduce texting and driving.

 

 

 

Contrast and compare drinking and driving with texting and driving.

Many people think that drinking while driving is bad, but texting while driving isn’t very different. They both kill you while driving and both are not worth dying for. Texting distracts the driver from the wheel and drinking stops the thought process of drivers. In the end doing both is not recommended.

 

 

Design a plan that would reduce the use of texting while driving.

One plan would be to reduce the number of texts a driver can send while driving over the 5mph limit. That way people can still text normally outside the car but while driving they have to learn to limit the amount of texts. I know it wouldn’t stop texting but it would reduce the deaths caused by it if you thought about it.

Reflection on Cartoon Character

The name for this project was Bulbasaur from Pokemon and my goal was to make the Pokemon look as real as possible. I used google the search engine to help me find pictures for me to use. The picture was a front and side view of the Bulbasaur. I finished my project on time. I had used my time efficiently enough time to add a cool scenery. I know that I met the expectation for this project because I made limbs, nostrils, and a mouth that is movable. I think it meets the class goal for publishing on the class website because the scenery makes the project ten times better. I do think that my project is worthy of being published because I worked hard on it and spent all of my time on it. I used the modeling skills I learned from 3d Kiwi like using splines to make the Bulb of the character and the eyes. Plus the textures I learned from him and many other skills I have learned over the year. My project is very creative since it is a Pokemon and I have not seen a Pokemon 3d model since this year. I also added a tree with grass using hair which I think is very creative. Out of 60 points I give my project 55-60 points.

Photo Journalism post 1

I’m taking photojournalism 2 because I enjoyed photojournalism 1. I loved just walking around and taking pictures of things. Having the teacher comment on your photo really makes it worth it when you know the picture is good.

I’m looking forward to just taking pictures and walking around searching for the perfect subject to shoot.

I’m not sure what to expect from this class. But I hope I get to take pictures of animals. This concludes my story of what I am looking forward to in Photojournalism 2
